My daughter has attended the day camps over both the Easter and summer holidays, and we absolutely love them. She's already asking if she can go back in October! Lisa is absolutely fantastic with the children and creates such a welcoming, nurturing environment. Every day is packed with opportunities to play, explore, build confidence, and learn new skills outdoors. My daughter especially loved the crafts, potion making, and the sandpit, and came home every day full of stories about her adventures. I can't recommend these camps highly enough. If you're looking for a holiday club where children can get muddy, be creative, make friends, and have an amazing time outside, this is it!

The kids had a great experience at Willows yesterday, lots to explore and do which kept the kids busy. Our time at Willows was completed with a cosy fire pit and toasting marshmallows which the kids really enjoyed. We had a great time thank you! Will definitely be returning.

We can’t say enough good things about Willows. When we picked up our 7 and 6 yo after their summer camp session they were bursting with excitement to show off their crafts and full of stories about new friends, marshmallow toasting and using real tools! We love the mix of free play and engaging activities and appreciate the sibling discount too. Lisa is a skilled and nurturing educator and a fellow Mum who has created something unique and wonderful in Willows. We’ll be back!

Friday was another brilliant session! Lots of activities to do including archery, plant pot decorating and sowing. Decorating stones and even the older children was learning how to use a saw and enjoying making some fire wood. 🪵 lots of potions set up in the mud kitchen too.

My daughter has absolutely loved her time at Willows. She always runs straight off to play when we arrive and is so excited to see what the wood work job is going to be each day. She absolutely loves playing in the mud kitchen and making s’mores. I think it’s been really good for her social skills too. We would recommended Willows to everyone! Lisa has created something really special.

Lisa was extremely welcoming and everything was very clean and safe for kids to run around and explore. The hammer skills, toasting marshmallows and the hammocks were particular favourites. Would definitely recommend taking your wee ones along. Great experience for a great price; not many places offer a sibling discount! Great to see the kids doing what kids should do - playing, rather than sitting on screens all day.

Recently moved to the area and been struggling for places to go to with 2 under 2. I have experienced a lot of places not welcoming me and my girls but Lisa was very welcoming and I love her thought behind the outdoor play and she has been in so much effort from setting up dinos too making dens and having sparkles in the water! My daughter had the best time! Was also a great opportunity for her to be around fire in a safe environment which I think was great! Will definitely be back weekly. Even after one session I can see my daughter being more confident!

We have been to Willows twice now and have all really loved our visits. Lisa is very engaging with the children. I have a 5 and a 2 year old and both have really enjoyed the activities set up here. My son particularly enjoys the tools area and it’s lovely to see him explore real tools with peace of mind being taught by Lisa. She has and a great way of explaining the very important safety aspects whilst also keeping the task fun with lots of encouragement and praise. Thank you very much! Had our 2nd visit to Willows Outdoor Learning yesterday - it is such a lovely, well set up area! We love all the variety of experiences, allowing lots of skills to be used, as well as new ones learnt too. With being an enclosed area it allows the kids freedom to explore, whilst also being safe too, which is great! Lisa is a lovely lady, who includes everyone during the session and is great with the kids, giving them various opportunities but always keeping safety in mind and has a great way explaining this to them. Think we'll be regular visitors!

Yesterday was my grandson’s first visit and he really enjoyed himself. Everyone was friendly. He struggles with school but he definitely wants to go back and said he feels happy and safe there and enjoyed the outdoor setup. It didn’t take him long to settle in which was a bonus.

I cannot recommend Willows enough - my daughter has so much fun there and does things she never gets to at home. My daughter is neurodiverse and her behaviour can be tricky, but she is given understanding and patience there. Fantastic and safe place for children to be themselves and explore new things.

My daughter had her first session here during the Easter holidays and thoroughly enjoyed it. Drop off was good, we were introduced to staff and informed about what was going to be happening during the session. On pick up my daughter immediately asked if she was coming back the following day! She had a great time, met new friends, and had lots of play and learning. We’ll definitely be booking again next holidays.

Libby had a fantastic first afternoon with the Teen Group. She enjoyed carving and painting pumpkins. The sand pit and kitchen area were also a hit. Rounded off by toasting marshmallows at the fire pit. See you next week!

Absolutely fantastic space for the children to roam free and explore play in a safe outdoor space. My 3 year old absolutely loved her time here. Lisa (owner) was incredible with the children and helped them at each activity space. She had a wide range of themed crafts set out easy to explore navigate. She took her time to each children about different activities and also set a campfire where the children could safely toast marshmallows and enjoy a tasty snack. Highly recommend. Will 100% be returning! It’s easy accessible, lovely clean car parking facilities!

My 3 year old thoroughly enjoyed her session at Willows. Lots of open-ended play opportunities for her to choose from and she loved getting to toast her marshmallow on the fire. Very safe and well organised, it's a lovely place for kids to run free and explore.

Yesterday I took my P1/2 class to Willows, and we had such a fantastic experience. Lisa truly went above and beyond. She planned a great range of activities and provided wonderful resources that kept the children engaged and excited all day.
Her new business space is safe and inclusive, where children can explore, learn about the outdoors, use tools and simply enjoy playing outside. The fire-building and s’mores were definite highlights — the kids absolutely loved it!
You can really see Lisa’s passion and care in everything she does. I’d highly recommend this place to any teacher looking for a fun, hands-on outdoor trip for their class.

Nothing short of amazing!
We absolutely loved our time at Willows outdoor learning space! From the moment we arrived, it just felt so special — you can really see and feel the love the family has poured into building everything. We made potions, toasted s’mores, did some wood cutting, and got creative with arts and crafts. The space is also fantastic for free play! Every activity was so thoughtful and hands-on.
The ASN session was beautiful — calm, inclusive, and full of kindness. It’s such a magical, welcoming place that encourages everyone to explore, create, and connect with nature. We honestly didn’t want to leave — can’t wait to go back! 🌿✨🔥"

Mr B (7) had the best time at Willows. He can't wait to come back and play again. He loved making new friends, the walkie-talkies and just having the space and freedom to play...the smores were also a huge plus! Lots to do! My daughter could have spent all day. She loved the mud kitchen, shop and mark making provocations. So lovely for such a wide range of ages too. The natural crafty bits which were seasonally linked were also great. My daughter loved watching the fire and toasting the marshmallows. Totally recommend. We will be back.

Easy to find outdoor learning grounds. Well equipped and so much space for all attendees. Lisa and her helper were well organised, clear about safety but also enjoyment and had so many activities on offer throughout the session. My little one loved exploring the structures on offer and the campfire was a nice touch. Plenty for all ages!

What a wonderful place for little ones as well as for adults. I took my 1 and half year daughter and she had so much fun exploring every single hut and play trays which provided different activities. It’s located in a beautiful area and everything has been made with careful thought, including the fencing (I’ve got an explorer) so makes me feel at ease. At the end we got to do some marshmallows in a fire pit which was amazing. I can’t wait to take my 3 year old, he’ll love it. The whole area is very accesible too.

Amazing set up for all ages, my 2 year old son is normally very shy but came out his shell so quickly and loved every minute, love the fact it’s outdoors and not shy of the weather, theres not very many outdoor based classes especially for younger children so this is fab! Will be back as much as possible!!

We visited Willows for the first time this week. The location is beautiful and the facilities are lovely. There is a lovely mixture of purpose built structures and open space for the children to run about in and explore. I loved how they incorporated stereotypical indoor play things (books, dolls etc) into the outside setting. There was also a good balance of structured learning (how to light the fire) and free play. We’ll be going back and recommending it to friends.

"Loved our visit to Willows today! Lisa was amazing with the kids. It was a great mix of free play and some structured play led by Lisa (which was optional). We'll definitely be back with my other children during the holidays! I can't speak highly enough of Willows, it's definitely going to be an asset to our wee local area! Great idea, great location, great owners!"
